Changanacherry Social Service Society (CHASS) is the Nodal Agency of Government of India as the Regional Resource Training Centre South Zone -II for the states of Kerala and Karnataka, sponsored by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment Government of India since January 2010.

B.ACCEPT De-Addiction Centers

This is quite different initiative, but having great relevance in a humanitarian perspective. The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India supports the programme. Both Drug and Alcoholic addiction cases come under the purview of the project. Treatment, Counseling and rehabilitation services are carried out by the ACCEPT centers located at Punnapra and Kattanam in Alappuzha District.
