Health is considered to be an important dimension of human development. Good health is not only a prerequisite for well being of mankind but also it augments labour productivity and stimulates economic growth. The following are the different health related services rendered by CHASS during the year 2014-15.

B. Revised National Tuberculosis Control Program (RNTCP)
CHASS in association with CHAI Kerala implemented Akshaya project under Revised National Tuberculosis Control Program in Alappuzha and Kottayam districts as part of prevention and control of TB during the year 2014-2015.

C.Grahalakshmi Home Nursing Service:
It may be of some relevance to mention here the home nursing service conducted by the Society. Families where bed-ridden patients are in dire need of professional nursing care are p rovided for, under specific terms and conditions agreed upon. 35 trained home nurses are there on the rolls for service on rotation.
D.Micro Health Insurance Scheme
CHASS in collaboration with United India Insurance Company launched a Micro Health Insurance Scheme for the SHG and Credit Union members. 1660 families enrolled in the scheme and 867 families availed claim to the tune of Rs. 1458699.00 through reimbursement scheme.
